CalPal Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using CalPal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have consent from a parent/guardian.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto‑Renewal
CalPal may offer auto‑renewing subscriptions (e.g., monthly or annual). Prices and plans are shown in the app and in your app store.
- Billing: Your account is charged at purchase confirmation and at renewal unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage/Cancel: Use your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Trials: If offered, trials convert to paid unless canceled before trial end.
- Refunds: Subject to the policies of your app store. We do not issue direct refunds for store purchases.
- Price Changes: We may change prices; the app store may notify you. Continued subscription after notice constitutes acceptance.

5. User Conduct & Content
You are responsible for content you submit. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. You grant us a limited license to host and display your content to provide the service (e.g., your activity feed). We may remove content and suspend accounts for violations.
6. Health & Safety Disclaimer
CalPal provides informational content only and is not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before making significant dietary or health decisions. We do not guarantee accuracy of AI‑generated estimates.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content in CalPal are owned by us or our licensors.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or as required by law. Deleting the app does not cancel subscriptions; manage cancellations via your app store.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify features or these Terms. We will post updates with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
